Terms & Conditions
Please
ensure you read the following carefully before proceeding with your
booking, as they constitute our agreement with you.
If you do not agree with any part of them, you must not proceed with
your booking. By clicking on the “Book Now” Button you accept that
you have read, understood and accept them. If there is any part of
them that your do not fully understand, or have a query on any part
of the services we are providing, please contact us on 0044 (0) 1704
879147. We rely on mutual trust and understanding between you and
ourselves.
We act as agent for the owners of the listed properties. Our role is
to enquire about pricing and availability of the property you are
interested in letting on a short or long term basis, make a
provisional booking and on receipt of your deposit confirm
arrangements for your stay. Final payments are at the discretion of
the owner and will either be to ourselves, at a pre-advised date
prior to the departure date, or direct on arrival to the owner. This
will be advised on confirmation of your booking.
All properties listed on this site have been and are regularly
inspected by our representative and are stated as accurately as
possible. However, we can take no responsibility for the
maintenance, or condition of the property on your arrival. Any
issues must be taken up with the owner immediately.
We can arrange taxi or car hire but do not arrange flight bookings.
However, any issues with the companies used for transport should be
taken up with them immediately, as we cannot take any responsibility
for the standard of service they provide.
Making a Booking
Complete the details in the booking and payment section of this
website. The person completing the web booking must by 18 years old,
have the authority of all persons in the group, will be classed as
the “Lead Name” and will be acting and accepting all terms and
conditions on behalf of all group members. The Lead Name is
responsible for ensuring the full cost of the holiday, cancellation
or amendment charges. All correspondence will be between the Lead
Name and us.
If you wish to book direct and not via the web site please do so on
0044 (0) 1704 879147. We will issue a confirmation invoice within 7
working days and payment must follow the conditions below.
All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions.
Payment for your holiday
On completion of the booking form you must indicate how your deposit
will be met i.e. cheque/postal order/bank draft to be issued to our
postal address by the advised date or credit/debit card by
completing the payment details attached to the booking form. The
amount of deposit required will be indicated within our
confirmation. All payments made by cheque will incur a 7day delay to
allow for clearance of funds prior to a final confirmation being
issued. A handling charge of 2.25% will be added on to credit &
debit/switch/delta card payments. The rate of exchange is based on
the current £ sterling to Euro rate.
Cancellations/Refund of deposit
Should you or any member of your party need to cancel, the lead name
i.e. the name the booking is under, must advise us immediately by
writing. Either email: essgeeholidays@aol.com or write direct to
Essgee Holidays Malta, 27 Vicarage Road, Formby Merseyside, L37 1XT.
Upon receipt a confirmation email or letter will be issued advising
of the amount of deposit that will be refunded. This amount will
depend on the time allowed prior to departure:
More than 60 days the full deposit less £20 administration fees
40 - 59 days 50% of the deposit less £20 administration fees
20 - 58 days 25% of the deposit less £20 administraion fees
0 - 20 days 0% of the deposit
** Administration fees cover bank charges in processing your
deposit, telephone calls etc.
Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim
these cancellation charges (less any applicable excess) under the
terms of your insurance policy. Claims must be made directly to the
insurance company concerned.
Confirmation
When submitting your offer to book any property or service on this
website at the suggested price, we will endeavour to accept this
offer within 5 days of you submitting. In the case of any
exceptional circumstances we will contact you to keep you informed.
Special Requirements
If you have any special requirements, such as a cot or high chair,
these must be advise in the booking form. We cannot guarantee their
availability but we will make every effort to meet your needs.
